Ambassador program – welcomes new families into Kincaid.

Blood Drive – benefits the Red Cross and our greater community.

Book Fair – provides quality books at reasonable prices.  Our media center receives books for the library based on participation.

Boosterthon Fun Run and Roll – PTA’s main fundraiser incorporating health, character and FUN!

Calendar/Handbook – school calendar listing monthly activities and handbook of Cobb County guidelines for all students.

Cat Tracks – monthly newsletter between PTA and Kincaid families.

Celebration of the Arts Day – hosts a full day of highly skilled artists who inspire and teach students about the arts.

Character Education – recognizes students displaying positive character.  Hosts monthly character lunches and character rewards days twice a year.

Chess Club – gives students weekly opportunities to learn strategic thinking skills.

Community Outreach – educates students about the need to help others and provides opportunities to do so.

Cougar Pride Days – students are encouraged to wear Kincaid t-shirts or school colors to show school pride.

Directory – gives students an opportunity to get to know each other outside of school.

Diversity and Abilities – teaches the importance of different heritages.

Education & Literacy – supports additional programs promoting literacy.

Email messages – informs families on school and community activities.

Environmental Education – teaches students about the environment and conservation.  Plans Earth Day, upkeeps the nature trail, and other programs.

Family Donation – tax deductible contribution to Kincaid PTA.  100% of your donation stays with PTA. [click here to download form]

Family Fun nights – a chance for families to have fun together.

Health – gives opportunities to learn about healthy choices.

Hero Essay Contest – hosts competition where students share stories about their heroes.

Holiday Store – gives students the chance to shop for holiday gifts at a low cost.

Hospitality – shows appreciation of teachers and staff by hosting teacher luncheons, monthly goodies, Kindergarten welcome tea, and drinks for student activities during the year.

Legislation – advises families on topics effecting children.

My Art – makes student artwork available for purchase.  Fundraiser for the art department.

Parent Education evenings – gives parents the opportunity to learn about parenting and educational issues.

Parent Involvement – promotes family involvement at Kincaid.

Reflections – hosts the national PTA visual arts competition/hosts a reception for students and their families. 

Room Parents – assists teachers in classroom needs.

School Packs – opportunity to buy school supplies at a group discount for the following school year.

School Store – gives students the chance to buy new and fun school supplies.

Science Night – a fun opportunity to learn about science.

Six Flags Reading Club – reading program with a ticket to Six Flags as a reward.

Special Services – teaches students about the needs of children with special learning issues.

Spring Fling – an event for our whole community to share.

Student Bank – weekly opportunity to help students learn the value of saving money.

Summer reading program – gives students the chance to keep up their reading skills during summer break.

Sunshine Math – provides a chance to reinforce math skills.

Volunteer Coordinator – helps coordinate volunteers for school-wide events.

Website – provides latest information on PTA activities.

“Welcome Back” Picnic – a fun event at the beginning of the school year.

Yearbook – gives students a keepsake on their elementary school years.

Young Rembrandts – after school opportunity to learn more about art.
